Men's tennis completes fourth straight unbeaten conference season with 9-0 win over Glendale
Glendale, AZ – The Mesa men's tennis team completed its fourth consecutive unbeaten ACCAC season with a 9-0 win over Glendale Tuesday.
"I am very proud of the way my teams have finished this season and excited to see what they do here at regionals in a week," said head coach Adam Cohen.
Mesa lost only a total of two games in the match, although two singles and one doubles were conceded by Glendale. David Felix, ranked No. 14 in the nation, was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 1 over Bryan Castanon and Linus Holthey, ranked No. 31 won by the same margin at No. 2 over Andrew Arnold.
Mesa, now 11-5 on the year and 6-0 in conference play, will participate in the Region I championships March 18-19 in Glendale.
