Men's Tennis National Tournament DAY 2 Results

TYLER, Texas – On the second day of competition at the NJCAA Division I Men's Tennis National Championships the Mesa men captured wins in all eight flights in which they are still alive.  

No team point totals were posted after play concluded, but Mesa would have to be high on the list.  

Play resumes at Collin College Wednesday morning.

No. 3 singles (No. 3) David Felix (Fr., Saarbueken, Germany) d. Tebatibunga Bira, New Mexico Military, 6-0, 6-1.
No. 4 singles (No. 3) Shimon Murakami (Fr., Sapporo, Japan) d. Josiah Borst, Hesston, 6-0, 6-0.
No. 5 singles consolation – Matt Fisher d. Will Irvin, Merdian, 8-1.
No. 6 singles Eduardo Cuoto (Fr., Sao Paulo, Brazil) d. Dalton Hendrix, Spartanburg, 6-1, 6-0.
No. 1 doubles – Holthey-Modica d. Taquel Lews-Diego Leal, Jones Co., 6-0, 6-1.
No. 2 doubles – Felix-Murakami d. Brennam O'Keefe-Noah Tippen, Miss.-Gulf Coast, 6-4, 6-1.
