No. 10 MCC Men's Soccer drew their third tie of the year on Saturday as they ended their contest with the No. 1 ranked Phoenix College Bears deadlocked at 1-1-.
MCC got on the board first in the opening half as Fariel Corrales would loft a shot past the keeper after he stole an errant PC pass.
PC would answer back quickly however, as a penalty kick would fly past MCC keeper Alejandro Chavez to tie the game up.
Both teams would have opportunities to get the job down and steal the game from the other, but neither would seal the deal as the 90 minutes would expire with the score still 1-1.
With the tie MCC's overall record moves to 2-1-3 (0-0-3 ACCAC). The team will be back in conference play on Saturday as they travel to take on Yavapai College.
