Mesa Knocks Off 2nd Ranked Opponent in Three Days, Victory vs #18 Snow College, 2-1

Mesa, AZ - Three days and two ranked teams have fallen.  The Mesa Thunderbirds men's soccer team were victorious Monday night at home as they defeated the #18 Snow College Badgers, 2-1, in a lightning shortened match that finished with 9:47 to play.

Coming off another huge win on Saturday against #8 Yavapai, 1-0, Mesa is playing with some fire in their belly.

Jesus Garcia knocked in Mesa's first goal in the first half, given Mesa the first lead of the night.  Snow then tied it in the second half but the second Mesa goal right around the waterbreak is all the T-Birds needed to lock up its fifth victory of the season.

Mesa moves to 5-2 overall on the season and will be back in conference action this coming Thursday when they host South Mountain at 7 pm.
