Paradise Valley, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds defeated the Paradise Valley Pumas Tuesday afternoon, 2-1, in an ACCAC matchup.
Jesus Garcia provided all the fire power for the T-Birds as he connected on both goals in the game. His first goal came in the 25th minute with goal two coming on a penalty kick in the 85th minute, the goal that decided the match for Mesa. For Garcia, he now has six goals on the season.
Mesa will finish the regular season this coming Thursday when they face the Arizona Western Matadors at 4:30 pm at John D. Riggs Stadium.
