Mesa, AZ - It went down to the last minute but Jose Caballero kicked in his second goal of the night in double-overtime to help Mesa beat Paradise Valley, 2-1.
With both teams evenly matched, it made for an exciting game, as both teams had multiple opportunities to cash in on goals. But with some excellent goalkeepers in each net, both teams managed only three goals on the night, all coming after the first half no less.
Caballero scored Mesa's other goal in the 53rd minute with Emmanuel Saavedra scoring Paradise Valley's lone goal in the 65th minute of the second half.
Mesa stops a three game losing streak and move to 3-6-1 on the season. They will play host to Gateway on Saturday night at home.
