Men's Soccer Drop Another Close Match, 2-1 in Double OT at Arizona Western

Yuma, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's soccer team have played tough in all the matches they have played this season but the breaks just aren't going the T-Birds way.  Mesa again battled hard against the Arizona Western Matadors in Yuma, AZ Thursday night but lost, 2-1, in double overtime.

The T-Birds fell behind 1-0 but Mesa tied it up late in the match to send it to overtime.  But the Matadors scored in the second overtime to defeat the T-Birds.

Mesa now is 6-5-1 overall.  They will be on the road Saturday morning at Scottsdale, opening kick at 10 a.m.
