Men's and Women's Soccer at Home Tonight at 4:30 and 7 p.m.
Mesa's men's and women's soccer teams will play at home tonight. The men's team will play host to #8 Yavapai College at 4:30 p.m. with the women playing host to Cochise College at 7 p.m.
On the men's side, Mesa used five second half goals at South Mountain to take down the Cougars, 5-2. Eric Vidana scored two goals on the afternoon, extending his goals for the sesaon to five in only three games he has played. #8 Yavapai lost their opening match of the season to Chandler-Gilbert but have rattled off six wins and one tie since then.
For the women, Mesa shutout South Mountain, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon. The T-Birds received goals from Maia Gajate, Logen Moen and Martina Bueno in the win. Cochise College comes into tonight with just one victory, which they had against South Mountain last week.
