MESA, AZ- Coming off an impressive victory over Phoenix College, the men's soccer team looked to continue its hot play against the Glendale Gauchos.
The Gauchos quickly spoiled any hopes for another victory against a good team as they jumped out to a three goal lead in the first half.
Mesa's attack could not penetrate the Glendale defense and the T-Birds barely had any shots on goal in the first half.
The lone T-Bird goal came well into the second half when Marlon Bonilla(Fr., Mesa, AZ, Dobson H.S.)
Glendale scored one more time in the second half to pushed its lead to 4-1 which ended up being the final score.
Mesa will play a re-scheduled game at Scottsdale on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 5:30, a game postponed due to lightning on Sept. 4th.
