  PHOENIX, A goal in the 36th minute by Marlon Bonilla, pictured right, (Fr., Mesa, AZ/Dobson H.S.) was all the Mesa men's soccer team needed in scoring a 1-0 win over ninth-ranked Phoenix Saturday on the road.

  Bonilla scored on an assist by Julian Galvan (So., Mesa, AZ/Westwood H.S.) and six saves by keeper Carlos Becerra (Fr., Mesa, AZ/Skyline H.S.) preserved the win for the T-Birds.

  Mesa is now 4-1 and hosts Glendale Saturday, Sept. 13 at 5:00 p.m. at John D. Riggs Stadium.
