Hardman's school-record 63 leads men's golf to ACCAC preview win
Gold Canyon, AZ – Austin Hardman fired a school-record seven-under-par 63 Saturday to lead the men's golf team to a six-shot win at the ACCAC Regional Preview. The event was held on the Sidewinder course at the Gold Canyon G.C., site of the annual Region I, Division II championships each May,
Hardman took medal honors by four shots and was one of two MCC players to shoot sub-par rounds as Brad Pottle carded a 69.
The T-Birds fired a collective six-under-par 274 to top South Mountain which came in at 280. Chandler-Gilbert was third at 297.
For the T-Birds, Gage Grimes and Jake Guess each tied for sixth place with 71s to round out the scoring.
