Mesa Men's Golf Remain Third After Day 2

Mesa, AZ - Shooting a combine 292 on day two of the NJCAA tournament with a two day total of 579, the Mesa men's golf team remain third heading into the final two days.

The T-Birds are just one shot behind the second team, Murray State College, and nine shots behind Mississippi Gulf Coast College who shot a two day total of 570.

Jacob Guess shot even par (71) golf to lead the Thunderbirds, putting him in a tie for 7th individually after two days.  Dean Harpe shot a 72 day two, putting him in a tie for 10th place individually.  

Jeff Kelley shot three over par (74), which ties him at 7th individually with Guess.  The final score recorded for Mesa was Bradley Pottle with a 75, 33rd overall individually.

Gage Grimes was the non-carded score for Mesa, with Grimes shooting a 77.  He is currently tied for 28th place individually.
