Men's golf captures annual match against Wabash
Mesa, AZ – It's an annual tradition, Mesa's men's golf team taking on Wabash College of Indiana and the T-Birds won the 15th annual event 278-327 on March 9 at the Dobson Ranch G.C.
The history of the event dates back to 2003 and involves the NCAA Division III school from Crawfordsville, Ind., that is the alma mater of MCC Hall of Fame basketball coach Tom Bennett.
This year, Mesa was led by Dean Harpe who fired a four-under-par 68. Gage Grimes was one shot back at 69 with Jake Guess and Jeff Kelley at 70.
