Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's basketball team lost Wednesday night to the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes, 57-53, at Theo Heap Gymnasium.
The T-Birds on the night didn't hold a lead as they only tied the game three other occasions.
Mesa shot 22-55 (40%) from the field, connecting on just 3-16 from the three-point line. Kris Coe and Cam Burist were Mesa high scorers, each scoring just 11 points.
The T-Birds will travel to South Mountain this coming Saturday afternoon for a 4 pm tip.
