Gilbert, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's basketball team edge out a one point overtime win at Chandler-Gilbert Saturday afternoon, 73-72.

Leading the way for the T-Birds were sophomore Adonis Arms and freshman, Errol Newman.  Each player scored 16 points for the T-Birds in their third conference victory of the young season.

Mesa moves to 3-4 overall but 3-1 in ACCAC conference play.  The T-Birds will play at home next Thursday night against the Arizona Western Matadors with a 7:30 pm tipoff.
