Men's Basketball Receives $10,000 from Fiesta Bowl Charities

Every year, the Fiesta Bowl Charities donates a large portion of money to organizations and this year hasn't been any different.  

For the 2017-2018 year, Fiesta Bowl Charities will donate 2.5 million dollars and the Mesa Community College men's basketball program will once again be one of the many recipients of the charities donations.  

Every December, the men's basketball program hosts the Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout, a tournament of all the top junior college men's basketball programs from throughout the country.  

It is the top junior college tournament throughout the year, with teams like South Plains College, Salt Lake Community College and of course the Mesa Thunderbirds.  With the help of the Fiesta Bowl Charities, Mesa is able to claim host to this great tournament.
