Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout website
MESA, AZ - The bracket and website for the sixth annual Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout, presented by visitmesa.com and hosted by Mesa Community College has been released today. The tournament is generally considered to be the best regular season even in the NJCAA.
As usual, the event which will take place at MCC's Theo Heap Gym Dec. 28-30, has a top notch field of eight schools from literally across the nation, coast-to-coast and border-to-border. Included in the field, alphabetically, are Baltimore City (Md.), Big Bend (Wash.), Lee (Texas), Mesa (AZ), Salt Lake (Utah), Snow (Utah), South Plains (Texas) and Williston State (N.D.). The eight teams had a combined won-lost record of 72-23 at the conclusion of play Dec. 16. Some schools have additional games prior to the tournament.
This year's group features the winners of four of the previous five tournaments with Mesa and Salt Lake having taken two each.
All games will be streamed live, and also archived, and Live Stats will be available for all contests. Direct links to all broadcasts and Live Stats will be featured on the website as they become available.
