Men's basketball adds big man, Ed Hardt, for 2015-16

  MESA, AZ - As the recruiting season continues the Mesa men's basketball program has added a big man for 2015-16, Ed Hardt, of Deer Valley H.S.

  Hardt averaged 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Skyhawks of coach Jed Dunn. He shot .572 and helped lead Deer Valley to a 16-12 record.

  Hardt had a 26-point game against Tucson Magnet and turned in a 13-rebound effort in a game with Mesa H.S.

  He'll join 6-9 Kyle Bingham (So., Mesa, AZ/Mountain View H.S.) to give the T-Birds a formidable from line next season. Bingham was a second team all-Region I and third team all-ACCAC choice as a freshman after averaging 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in his first season with MCC.

  Mesa previously announced the signing of Brandon Dixon, of Liberty H.S. and Isaiah Easaw, of Campo Verde H.S.
