Holloway adds third ACCAC Player of the Week honor

  MESA, AZ - For the third time this season, and the second week in a row, Khari Holloway (So., Jackson, Miss/Mountain Pointe (AZ) H.S.) has been named ACCAC Player of the Week.

  The honor comes for his play last week as MCC defeated Eastern Arizona, 95-72, and Tohono O'odham, 76-70, both on the road and surged into first place in the conference.

  Holloway averaged 19.0 points per game in the two wins, going 8-15 from the floor and making all five of his three-point attempts. He even converted all 17 of his free throws.

  He also added 6.0 assists per contest as well as 5.5 rebounds.

  MCC will host Cochise Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. before traveling to Scottsdale for a 4:00 p.m. contest Saturday.
