Holloway earns second ACCAC Player of the Week honor

  MESA, AZ - For the second time this season Khari Holloway (So., Jackson, Miss/Mountain Pointe H.S.) has been named ACCAC Player of the Week.

  He earned the honor for his play in leading Mesa to wins over Central Arizona on the road Wednesday and at home Saturday versus Chandler-Gilbert.

  In the two games he averaged 15.1 points, shot .550 (11-20) from the floor and hit three of five three-point attempts. He also had six assists.

  He also won the honor in December for his play during the week of Dec. 8-14.

  For the season he is averaging 17.0 points per game and leads the nation in free throw shooting with a .933 percentage. He had a streak of 41 consecutive free throws made end last week.
