#8 Mesa Football to Host #7 Lackawanna in Valley of the Sun Bowl December 3rd

The NJCAA have announced this season bowl games and the #8 Mesa Thunderbirds will host the #7 Lackawanna Falcons in the Valley of the Sun Bowl on December 3rd at John D. Riggs Stadium at 2 p.m.

Mesa finished its regular season on Saturday with a victory at Pima, 37-32.  The T-Birds finished with an 8-2 mark, tied for best record in Ryan Felkers coaching tenure at Mesa.  

The last time Mesa hosted the Valley of the Sun Bowl was in 2007 when they played Fort Scott from Kansas.  The last time Mesa played in the Valley of the Sun Bowl was in 2012 at Glendale.

The Lackawanna Falcons are apart of the Northeast Football Conference and finished the 2016 season undeafeted (10-0).
