Kenneth Steele Earns WSFL Defensive Player of the Week

Kenneth Steele has earned Western States Football League Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Scottsdale Artichokes this past Saturday.

Steele recorded eight total tackles, seven solo, one sack for eight yards and one tackle for loss for eight yards.  He also forced a fumble, had two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries.

For Steele, this is his first WSFL Player of the Week honor.  For the Mesa Thunderbirds defense, this is their third WSFL Player of the Week honors.  Rashun Parker and Amonai Itaaehau also earned the award earlier in the season.
