Getting it done in the trenches - MCC linemen sign DI offers

MESA, AZ - Two more offensive lineman signed Division 1 scholarships for Mesa this week bringing the total number of scholarships offered to this year's offensive line to nine with four being at the Division 1 level.  Center Kevin Austin (Fr., Roswell, Ga/Roswell H.S.) inked with the University of Louisville, and tackle Gabe Murphy (So., Phoenix, AZ/Shadow Mountain H.S.) with Hampton (Va.) University.  In the past three years Mesa has produced some of the top offensive lineman in the country with 17 receiving scholarships.  

When asked, head coach Ryan Felker said about the numbers, "Mesa has always had great offensive linemen, most notably guys like Deuce Lutui who spent years in the NFL, and most recently guys like 2013 All American Cory Clements (Currently at Purdue), In my short time at Mesa I have been blessed to have two offensive line coaches in Mike Welch and Shawn Gloden that I will put up against anyone"
