Doug Rose returns for his 25th season on the Mesa coaching staff. His duties include working with the outfield as well as serving as bench coach and recruiting.

"Rosey," as his colleagues refer to him, coached baseball and football at the high school level for 11 years. He was the head baseball coach at Bourgade High School for five years while leading them to the state tournament four times.

Rosey has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University.  

Rosey retired in 2021 from teaching after 30 years of teaching (33 overall) Physical Education in the Alhambra School District 

He and his wife, Stefanie (4th-grade teacher in Chandler District) live in Chandler and have two children, Keegan 23 (4th-grade teacher in Chandler District), and Kaden 21 (Soph. at Mesa).
