Mesa, AZ - The #17 Mesa Thunderbirds defeated the Benedictine University of Mesa Redhawks JV team Saturday afternoon, 4-1.
It wasn't a 17 run juggernaut like yesterday but the T-Birds used walks and timely hitting to get the job done. Luke Patty led the way by going 2-3 with a double and triple while knocking in two of Mesa's runs.
Mesa will play at home again next Tuesday, January 29th against the Grand Canyon Club team beginning at 3 pm.
