Mesa, AZ - The #7 Mesa Thunderbirds lost Wednesday afternoon to the #17 South Mountain Cougars, 6-5, dropping the two game series with the Cougars from both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Experienced a bit of a rough spell, Mesa has lost eight out its last 11 games. Mesa will now finish the season battling the ACCAC DII opponents, beginning with the Pima Aztecs this coming Saturday in Tucson for a double-header.
Mesa is 34-12 overall and 18-12 in the ACCAC.
