Mesa, AZ - The #6 Mesa Thunderbirds moved to 8-0 on the season with two victories over U of A Club Saturday afternoon, 24-1 (7), 17-0 (7).
The T-Birds had little trouble as they scored 11 runs in the first inning of game one and never looked back. Mesa closes out a strong week as the defeated Grand Canyon Club on Tuesday, 11-0 (7).
The T-Birds play Benedictine JV on Tuesday and start conference play on Friday and Saturday against Glendale. Friday at Glendale then Saturday at Mesa.
