Jacob Boston NBC World Series All-American; Mitchell Morimoto Leads Way for NJCAA National Team
A couple 2016 Mesa T-Birds baseball players performed well in the 82nd Annual NBC World Series in Wichita, Kansas.
Mitchell Morimoto proved why he was one of the top players in the country as he led the NJCAA National Team while Jacob Boston also proved what a dominant player he was for the Hayes Larks.
Boston was named All-American at the shortstop position for the Larks, batting .458 BA, 7 RBI, 6 runs scored, 1 double, 1 triple and 4 SB. Morimoto batted .615 while knocking in three RBI's and scoring six runs.
Morimoto was a two time All-American at Mesa CC and has signed with the University of Arizona, while Boston will be heading to San Angelo State in Texas.
