Mesa, AZ- Chase Merriman pitched six solid shutout innings for the T-Birds, allowing only three hits in Mesa's 9-0 victory over Dakota County Technical College Monday afternoon.
Hunter Bross, Matt Ayala and Drew Lawerence each collected two hits for Mesa while Jacob Boston knocked in two runs in Mesa's 12 hit shutout victory.
Merriman pitched six innings, giving up no runs on three hits, striking out five while allowing just one walk.
Mesa will be at home again this Wednesday against the Arizona State Club Team at 3 p.m.
