Mesa, AZ- A Jacob Boston homerun led to a six-run seventh inning to help Mesa beat Western Nebraska, 14-4, Friday afternoon at Mesa Community College.
The T-Birds had 17 hits with Mesa's one and two hitters, Jarred Crockett and Drew Bailey, going 6-10 with two doubles, a triple, and six RBI's.
Starting pitcher Michael Warning went five innings, allowing five hits, three runs (1 ER) with four strikeouts. Max Williams finished the final two innings, striking out two while allowing just one earned run.
Mesa will be home Saturday for a double-header against Cochise College, first pitch at noon.
