Mesa, AZ- Mitchell Morimoto and Jacob Boston combined for five hits and five RBI's in Mesa's 8-5 victory over the Scottsdale Artichokes Friday afternoon.
Morimoto went 3-4 with two RBI's and three runs while Boston went 2-4 with three RBI's and a run.
Jared Crockett went 3-5 with a triple and a stolen base. Kent Hasler picked up the win for Mesa, giving up seven hits, three runs (3 ER) with seven strikeouts and one walk. Nick Ohanian picked up the save (6).
The T-Birds will be on the road today at Scottsdale, first pitch at noon.
