Mesa, AZ- The Mesa baseball team took care of the Phoenix College Bears Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, 14-3 (7) Tuesday and 9-8 Wednesday.
Mesa used Kody Funderburk and Hunter Bross homeruns on Tuesday to beat the Bears in seven innings, 14-3. Matt Mosca collected his third win of the season.
Mitchell Morimoto went 3-4 with two RBI's and run in Mesa's 9-8 victory on Wednesday afternoon. Estaban Martinez went 4-5 with two runs and one RBI.
The T-Birds used four pitchers in the game, Brek Bentley(1-0) getting the win in relief and Nick Ohanian(4) getting the save.
Mesa will be back home on Friday against the Scottsdale Artichokes. First pitch at 3 p.m.
