Baseball Victorious Against Paradise Valley, 4-2

Mesa, AZ- The T-Birds used a four run second inning to pull ahead of Paradise Valley and they never looked back as they beat the Puma's, 4-2.

Drew Bailey started the four run rally with a walk, followed by another walk by Hunter Bross.  Mike Roberson singled to left field which loaded the bases for Mesa.

Drew Lawerence then wrapped one down the left foul chalk line and all three baserunners came around and scored, and with the throw home, Lawerence took second.

Jarred Crockett then singled to right field, bringing in Lawerence from second to extend the Mesa lead to 4-0.

The T-Birds pitching staff battled through adversity throughout the nine innings as twice the Pumas had the bases loaded with only one out.  In the ninth, Nick Ohanian had to work through some infield snafoo's and with runners on second and third, Ohanian struck out the final batter to close out the Mesa victory.

Mesa is now 16-2 overall, 7-1 in the ACCAC.  Mesa will be at home on Friday against Gateway, a 3 p.m. first pitch.
