#10 Baseball Season Opener This Afternoon Against Grand Canyon Club At 3 P.M.

Baseball begins another season under the direction of Head Coach Tony Cirelli, who in his 22nd year, feels confident about this year's roster.  

The T-Birds return 2nd Team All-American Mitchell Morimoto in left field, who batted .393 with four homeruns, 21 doubles and seven triples.  Along with Morimoto in the lineup, Jacob Boston returns in the infield.  Boston played in 52 games, batting .282 with one homerun, seven doubles and three triples.

On the mound, Mesa returns Matt Mosca and Kent Hasler but the rest of the rotation are freshman coming in trying to replace Evan Fresquez and Tyler Carvalho.

Mesa begins its season this afternoon at Mesa against Grand Canyon Club team.
