MESA, AZ - Managing only three hits, Mesa fell to Thompson Rivers, of Canada, 4-1, Sunday.
It was the second straight loss for MCC which won its first nine games.
The Wolfpack pushed across one run each in the fourth and fifth innings and then added two in the sixth. The T-Birds got their only run on a pinch hit home run by Mitchell Morimoto (Fr., Issaquah, Wash/Issaquah H.S.) in the eighth.
MCC had two hits and a walk in the fourth, but was unable to push across a run.
The T-Birds host Paradise Valley Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
