The Pima Community College volleyball team (10-9, 3-4 in ACCAC) fell behind and the rally was cut short on Friday at Mesa Community College (14-5, 5-4).
- The Aztecs dropped the first two sets and won the third but lost in the end to the No. 14 ranked Thunderbirds 25-19, 25-23, 25-27, 25-20.
- Pima split the regular season meetings with Mesa. The Aztecs won in five sets last month at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.
The Aztecs will return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday when they host Eastern Arizona College at 7:00 p.m.
