Mesa Ranks 6th in NATYCAA Standings
MESA, AZ – The Mesa athletic department has posted another outstanding showing in the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators’ (NATYCAA) annual ranking of NJCAA athletic programs with a sixth place finish.
The NATYCAA Cup, which ranks schools based on their performance in NJCAA national events, showcases the finest athletic programs in the nation. In the scholarship division MCC placed sixth among more than 400 schools.
Mesa has had a tradition of top finishes in the cup. The T-Birds have finished among the top 25 every year since the cup was established in 2003-04, although two years’ worth of records, from 2006-08, are missing. MCC won the cup in 2004-05 and has been among the top six in two of the last three years.
