Mesa student-athletes once again excel in classroom
Mesa, AZ – As has been the case for several years, Mesa student-athletes once again excelled in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year.
MCC athletes earned 34 NJCAA All-Academic awards, earning at least a 3.6 GPA during the last academic year. Included with that were 15 who produced perfect 4.0 averages.
In addition, four complete T-Bird teams earned NJCAA academic honors, posting at least a composite 3.0 GPA a year ago. The awards are announced each June.
Academic excellence for Mesa student-athletes is nothing new. During the past five years, for example, a total of 155 individuals have earned NJCAA honors as well as 31 full teams.
