Mesa athletics honors 3.0 student-athletes
Mesa AZ - The Mesa athletic department honored all of its student-athletes who earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average at the Homecoming football game Saturday.
A total of 156 athletes attained that level in the Spring 2018 semester. They cane from every MCC team.
In addition, 41 student-athletes earned all-NJCAA academic recognition during the 2017-18 year. That was a school record and required a gpa of at least 3.60. Five entire T-Bird teams were also honored for having a cumulative gpa of 3.0 or better.
