Quadruple Header at Phoenix College Tuesday With Softball, Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball

In an extremely rare scheduling event, there will be four games played at Phoenix College Tuesday.  Softball will play a double-header at 1 and 3 pm, with baseball starting at 3 pm, and basketball ending the evening with a men's and women's double-header, beginning at 5:30 with the women's game and 7:30 pm for the men's game.

Softball is entering Tuesday's game against the Bears with a 9-8 overall record.  They had two tough loses on Saturday at home against Eastern Arizona, but look to get back end the month of February on a strong note.

#6 baseball begins a two game series with the Bears, with game two being played tomorrow at MCC.  Currently 15-4, Mesa just swept a two game series with DII opponent Gateway on Friday and Saturday.

Sealing up the number one DII spot for the ACCAC tournament, #16 Mesa women's basketball has again finished with at least a 20 win season.  The T-Birds came back from a 14 point deficit on Saturday against rival Pima to beat the Aztecs, 60-58, to seal that number one spot.  The T-Birds beat the Bears earlier in the season at Theo Heap Gym, 73-59.

Men's Basketball will enter the ACCAC DI conference tournament as the number three seed.  Who they will play is yet to be determined but it will either be Arizona Western or Cochise, depending on Tuesday's final game results.  The T-Birds dropped their earlier game with Phoenix College, 77-65, at Theo Heap Gym back in January.
