Four T-Birds Earn Player of the Week Honors

Four Mesa Thunderbirds earned player of the week honors from this past week.  Kenneth Steele, Ryan Grimm, Leah Crist and Brandi Alderson all earned the honor.

Kenneth Steele - Steele recorded eight total tackles, seven solo, one sack for eight yards and one tackle for loss for eight yards.  He also forced a fumble, had two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries.

Ryan Grimm - Grimm had four punts for 183 yards (45.75 avg.).  His longest went 58 yards and he had one punt land inside the 20 yard line.  Grimm also was the holder on the PAT's for the first time this season, with the T-Birds going 5-5.

Leah Crist - Crist totaled 19 kills and 7 blocks in wins over Pima and Scottsdale.

Brandi Alderson - Alderson did not allow a goal last week as MCC went 1-0-1. She had 8 saves versus Arizona Western and 6 saves versus Scottsdale.
