George Hall

George Hall

George Hall was quite possibly the best big man in the history of the paint at Mesa Community College.

He was an ACCAC All-American in both his ?74-?75 and ?75-?76 seasons at Mesa and ACCAC Player of the year in 1976. In the 1975-76 season, he was honored as an NJCAA All American as well. His leadership as team captain led to his selection as Team MVP.

Hall set a single game rebound record in 1975 against Pima, absolutely controlling the boards with 27 rips. Needless to say, his rebounds per game average that year was off the charts as well?13.2 per game. He dominated the glass even more in conference play, wiping the boards to the tune of 14.4 per game.
